All facilities face a certain level of risk associated with various threats. These threats may be the result of natural events, accidents, or intentional acts to cause harm. Regardless of the nature of the threat, facility owners have a responsibility to limit or manage risks from these threats to the extent possible hence why with us such issue can be eradicated.

 

The first step in a risk management program is a threat assessment. A threat assessment considers the full spectrum of threats (i.e. natural, criminal, terrorist, accidental, etc.) for a given facility / location.

 

Our standards only addresses man-made threats, but individual agencies are free to expand upon the threats they consider. Assessment is examined by us through supporting information to evaluate the relative likelihood of occurrence for each threat.

 

What we do

As a business we can also arrange for a licensed Officer to act as a proxy member of staff, for example when a contractor needs to access your premises out of hours. We will collect your keys, or meet a member of your staff at the premises, accompany the contractor whilst they are in your building and then ensure your premises are locked and secured.

 

 The company also offers a transport escort service, which involves one of our marked vehicles accompanying any valuable goods vehicles from location A to B, whether it be a short or long distance. The vigilance and awareness of our licensed officers ensures that there is constant assessing of the area for any outside threat to the safe transportation of goods.

Monitoring

A CENTRAL MONITORING STATION

 

If the system is monitored, and the alarm is set off, the control panel sends a message to a central monitoring station which is manned 24 hours a day.

 

After attempting to contact the homeowner, the central monitoring station will contact the police, fire department, or medics.

 

There is usually a monthly fee for this service.

Additional items that can be added to the basic system are:

A well-planned access control system consists of online (wired) locks, standalone (non-wired) electronic locks and a number of mechanical locks, often installed in secondary doors or as an override to electronic locks for emergency situations. But how do you keep an overview, especially in a large organization, of who holds which type of access (electronic card or mechanical key) to each door? EXE allows you to manage mechanical keys alongside ID cards using our efficient MKS (master key systems) module. You keep a clear overview and monitor who is carrying a key and/or a card to which door.

Key loss and theft are significant issues in many organizations, especially when rooms need to be accessed by sub-contractors, suppliers and cleaners in the absence of your staff. The administrative costs of managing keys effectively can mount up. One proven method to minimize losses and increase efficiency is an intelligent, automated key deposit within the premises. That way, no keys are taken out of the building by third parties. The depot ‘releases’ a key only to authorized individuals after they have identified themselves by presenting a valid badge.

A typical access control system contains a number of online (networked) and standalone (non-wired) doors. While the latter reduces the cost and hassle of cabling, it increases workload, as the operator has to go to each door to manually update access rights or to upload door history. Card Link solves this problem, as it simplifies the process of updating access rights on non-wired devices, thus keeping operational costs low. Instead of updating access rights manually at each door, the operator instructs the users’ access cards to carry those instructions to the doors.
